This revised edition was prepared by comparing the previously printed edition with all manuscripts, determining and eliminating printing errors. All together the following manuscript sources have been considered: First sketch; Full score sketch; Full score final copy; Reduction for two pianos; Hand-written copy of above with some changes; Full score, first printed edition, with autograph revisions.
