The American composer Milton Ager (Chicago 1893 - Los Angeles 1979) wrote several songs that became evergreens, such as 'Ain't she sweet' and 'Happy Days are here again'. The latter became extremely popular when is was chosen as official song for the presidential campaign of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932. Since then it has been used by many a politician.
