Six movements based on five riddles from the Exeter Book, a collection of Anglo-Saxon poetry dating back to the tenth century. Score for Soprano and Flute, with the flute doubling on Piccolo and Alto Flute. Movements include: Weather-vane Cock, Fish and the River, Fish Eggs, Swarm of Gnats, ???, Book Worm.
